Project Room Data Manager

WANT THE MOST EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR MANAGING YOUR PROJECT INFORMATION?

PRD is the workhorse of CodeBook. It allows all those involved in design, construction and operation of complex buildings to work with co-ordinated data, produce schedules, graphical views, room data sheets (RDS) and BIM ready outputs.

As a BIM data repository and gateway, PRD can be used simultaneously with many of the leading architectural and engineering design applications. A change in one system is then reflected in the project database, with information synchronized and managed for consistency.

The database will be used for estimating and tendering purposes and during construction for recording compliance and ff+e asset data, with all the captured data available for the purposes of facilities management.

Data might include:

- room information, areas and finishes

- fixtures, furniture and equipment

- mechanical and electrical equipment

- cost information and quantities

As the central data management tool,  data capture can be from Excel, database based briefing and program tools,  and the CodeBook RDC briefing and programming tool.

It provides sophisticated content coordination and room data management by means of room types and standard layouts. It can track reasons for changes in the room data sheets (RDS) (e.g. client changes to the original project brief/programme) and validates design models against requirements.

The database will be developed throughout detail design, integrated with graphical design models such as Revit Architecture, Revit MEP and Navisworks.
